At Be Rooted, we like to be on a first name basis with our customers. When people first discover Be Rooted Botanicals, it takes them a while to get to know our names, and that has become part of our story. One of the clearest examples is our best-selling pain relief cream. Many people call it Molly Cream instead of Molly’s Cream, and they still do today. Here in the little community of Felton, our first customers fell in love with the cream that Molly made. The name has become part of the folklore of Be Rooted, reflecting how deeply our customers connect with what we make. Why? Be Rooted Botanicals started with the vision of creating plant-based recovery formulas that really work. In the early days, when we were experimenting with herbs and oils, we created what would become Molly’s Cream. Back then, it wasn’t known as Molly Cream or Molly’s Cream. It was originally called CBD Arnica Cream because we were the first—or at least we think we were—to combine CBD and arnica in one smart blend. That combination became a game-changer for pain relief, recovery from injury, and everyday healing, and it quickly defined Rooted Botanicals as a company unafraid to innovate.

As people used the cream, something unexpected happened. Customers began giving it a new name. They asked for “Molly’s Cream”. They praised Molly’s Cream, and word of mouth spread faster than we could have imagined. What started as CBD Arnica Cream transformed into a household staple with a name chosen not by us, but by the community that trusted it. We embraced it because it reflected exactly what we wanted: people making the product their own.

That theme of connection runs deep in our company’s DNA. Be Rooted Botanicals, also simply called Rooted Botanicals, is more than just a name. There’s a family tradition of using the word “ROOT” in everything we do. Our founder Molly once ran a preschool called Roots and Wings. Her sister Kate, now the production queen at Be Rooted, had a landscaping company called Get Rooted. So when it came time to name our herbal business, Be Rooted was a natural fit. Be Rooted is kind of a wish or a blessing. Be Rooted in peace and love.

 

Today, Molly’s Cream remains our #1 seller, and whether people call it CBD Arnica Cream, Molly Cream or Molly’s Cream, it represents the heart of our journey. It’s a product born from a passionate knowledge of products and plants, shaped by innovation, and named by the people who love it most.
